Safety always should come first and having had a horse go down in a trailer, we always like to use these when travelling.  They are made from Heavy duty polypropylene rope and have a walsall hook at one end and a panic hook at the other (great for a safe quick release).  18" long , Black/Red colour only.

We even cheat when tying up in the yard now as one these hooks is permanently hooked on to the string on the tie ring so no escaping pony can untie themselves and get loose.
